William Kentridge is giving a free talk at the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston on the 8th April. I am staying not far away and am crossing every body part I own in the hope that I will get to be there at that talk!
My good friend who lives in Brisbane has a sister that owns a gallery in Bangalore, India. She helps support emerging artists over there and I have just had a look at her Facebook page. There is some beautiful work happening there. It is called Five Forty Five.
Opening night of impress studio and gallery, last night, was a full house. John Doyle at the front with the white shirt who warmly welcomed me into impress and who has taught me quite a few things. Click on his name and see some of his beautiful work. The Sydney Morning herald has expressed the amount of work these people have put into getting this space launched. Opened by Brisbane Lord Mayor Graham Quirk and a speech by Sasha Grishin (Aust. National Uni).
