I completed these works as my emotional and thought response to the breast cancer. I referred to mammogram images I have. To information overload that seems to become fragmented in my mind because I get overwhelmed sometimes with where my mother is up to. I feel like it is all consuming sometimes. I have a hold on my health at times and sometimes I don't.

Blouin artinfo: Venice Biennale Reveals Title: Venice Biennale president Paolo Baratta and 56th edition curator Okwui Enwezor released an official statement announcing the upcoming event’s title: “All The World’s Futures.” Enwezor also explained that there will be no unifying theme, but rather “a layer of intersecting Filters” — those “Filters” being “Liveness: On epic duration,” “Capital: A Live Reading,” and “Garden of Disorder.” I have taken this info straight from blouin artinfo. What would I come up with? What would you come up with?
I have only just connected Nicola Moss who I briefly met on the weekend (artist in residence at Grafton Regional Gallery) with her artwork I saw at the Redlands Art Gallery towards the end of 2013. Her work was stunning based around environmental issues displayed as coloured paper cut-outs - they are not as simple as this sounds by the way.
Four short workshops at Grafton Regional Gallery
I had not heard of this artist until last week when John Doyle showed us a book and a small work he bought of hers recently. Everything about her work is stunning and she is not bound by specific mediums but explores many. I feel like I can relate to her work. It is so nice when this happens. Look at her website Bronwyn Berman. Another artist I will aspire to.
I went to see an exhibition with my daughter yesterday at Show Arts Gallery. Artists included one of my drawing teachers work, Scott Avery. We bought two small works. A print by Cherie Scalia and a mixed media work by Wendy Brown. My daughter is already negotiating with me to have them hung in her room. Bless! I love that she loves them too. All the works were beautiful.
